You are bidding on an Antique Victorian Carved Double Full Size Bed. This is a RARE FIND because of its size, age and beauty and dates back to the 19th Century and is Circa 1880 American made and possibly made earlier. This was BEAUTIFULLY made and of the HIGHEST quality with beautiful solid carved Bamboo trim work ALL throughout the bed and even the side rails of the bed were nicely done with such great depth and dimension to the detail this bed was made with quality and craftmanship that is no longer found today. beautifully figured with a natural wood grain. The head and footboard have a nicely carved top rail with floral carved motifs and bamboo carved columns and motif designed trim work at the top of each end as you can see in the pictures. It has beautiful rounded edges at each side with curved top. Because of its age this bed is original that dates back to the 1800s so please check your measurements and because of its size, style and design features which really add up and give the bed much character this is a great piece that can be used in a Living room or Parlor as a Daybed, or in s Study or Boudior or in a guest room and anywhere else throughout your home that I PROMISE will be a topic of conversation and was beautifully made with quality that is no longer found today. It has a beautiful and exotic naturally figured wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. This was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall its in excellent shape. The bed overall measures approx 51 inches wide and 79 inches long. Local Pick Up: Item(s) must be picked up within 30 days of auction ending, a $25 handling fee will apply, as well as NY State Sales Tax. Our warehouse hours are M-F 10am-6pm and we normally open one Saturday per month, please give us 72 hours advance notice prior to desired pick up date. Any items left after 30 days will be assessed $25 per week, per auction for storage. For all pick ups please bring your own blankets, pads and any other material you may need to secure your item(s).
