I WILL BE LISTING SOME NICE VICTORIAN ITEMS THIS WEEK INCLUDING LOTS OF CUT GLASS, A NICE HUNZINGER CHAIR, AND A SIGNED HERTER BROTHERS PARLOR CABINET, SO BE SURE TO CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS AND CHECK BACK PERIODICALLY AS ITEMS WILL BE PUT UP THROUGHOUT THE NEXT WEEK AND NEW ITEMS WILL BE ADDED EVERY EVENING. This is a VERY RARE OLD BRADLEY AND HUBBARD THREE LIGHT HANGING OIL LAMP. IT IS BY FAR THE MOST UNUSUAL HANGING LIGHT OF THIS SORT I HAVE EVER SEEN. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER AND I DO NOT KNOW WHERE YOU WILL EVER FIND ONE AGAIN. IT HAS AESTHETIC INFLUENCES AS WELL AS SOME EASTLAKE. IT IS ALL BRASS AND IS SIGNED ON THE FONTS AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS. IT MEASURES 41 1/2'' LONG BY 33'' WIDE. IT HAS THE BEST CEILING CAP I HAVE EVER SEEN. THE CROWN FOR THE CENTRAL DOME SHADE IS THERE AND I HUNG IT ON THE FONT IN THE SEVENTH PHOTO. THE PULLEY MECHANISM IS IN THERE AND THE CENTRAL LIGHT DOES PULL DOWN. THE FONTS WILL HOLD OIL AND THEY HAVE NOT BEEN DRILLED. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE LAST PHOTO I HAVE ALL THE PRISMS THAT HUNG ON IT. THEY GO WITH IT. THIS IS REALLY THE BEST OF THE HANGING OIL LAMPS OF THE DAY. I WOULD SUGGEST A CRANBERRY HOBNAIL DOME (IT TAKES THE STANDARD 14'' HANGING DOME SIZE) SHADE IN THE CENTER AND TWO RUFFLED CRANBERRY SHADES ON THE ARMS. WITH THE RIGHT SHADES ON IT YOU WOULD HAVE A VERY RARE AND EXPENSIVE LIGHT. THE AUCTION STARTS AT .99 AND I HAVE SEEN JUST ONE OF THESE FONTS BY ITSELF SELL ROUTINELY FOR 150.00 SO LETS DO THE PIECE SOME JUSTICE. THE PIECE IS IN GOOD SHAPE WITH NO BREAKS OR REPAIRS.
