ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ROSES GERMAN PORCELAIN CHOCOLATE POT click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge Here is an antique Victorian pink roses German porcelain chocolate pot. It was made in approx. the late 1800's, early 1900's. It stands approx. 10 1/2" tall and is made of fine white porcelain china with great big beautiful Victorian pink roses on the sides and on the lid. It has a graceful long thin handle. The top lid fits deeply into the pour spot and the bottom feet has a wavy footed bottom. The porcelain has fancy molded puffy designs on the sides. There is a shiny silver leaf and vine pattern along the pour spot along with golden touches on the handle and on the cover. The cover has a cut out so that the liquid can pour thru. The gorgeous pink rose pattern is a transfer ware pattern. This chocolate pot is fully marked on the bottom under the glaze "Germany, Carmen". This chocolate pot is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, nicks or repairs. There is not even crazing. There is a few tiny kiln spots in the glaze done when this piece was made. This is the perfect piece to add to your fine antique chocolate pot collection or as an elegant piece to add to your home deco re. Its also a stunning piece to complete that shabby chic style you are looking for.
