There are a couple of corners where some of the old gold gilt as worn, but this is very minimal. Measuring the base this clock is 5 inches wide by 12 inches long, and the height at the middle is 12 1/2 inches. The porcelain face, hands and beveled glass is all original and perfect. I gave both perfect springs a couple of turns and attached the original pendulum. This clock has been working ever since and strikes on the hour and half hour.
