Fantastic antique Victorian American tall 'S' curve roll top quarter sawn oak desk/secretary, full fitted interior, circa 1890, fine condition best on eBay! Great antique American 'S' curve oak roll top desk circa 1890. The desk is made of solid quarter sawn oak throughout, the tambour/roll top moves effortlessly & smoothly enclosed are 16 pigeon holes, 12 drawers & two pen rests & two pull out pen rests, with a prospect door to the center. The base has two 'bread board' pull out rests, each pedestal has graduated drawers (the bottom drawer on the right is a double drawer with lateral files) & one drawer to center, the desk is nicely paneled at both sides & the back, great tiger oak graining throughout. The desk is; 50" wide x 51" tall x 34" deep, the kneehole opening is; 30.5" deep x 25" tall x 20.5" wide large enough for the longest of legs! Condition is excellent throughout, as good as it gets!
