Faceted top on the glass makes the button appear sparkly. The back appears worse in the photos than it really is. Years ago, when I first got this button there was rust on the back. I sanded and cleaned the back and applied varnish. Button has remained stable ever since. Because of the non pristine condition, I am starting low and letting you decide how much the repair bothers you.
