LOVELY ENGLISH 140 yr. old EDWARDIAN / VICTORIAN TEAPOT PLEASE EXCUSE ANY GLARE OR REFLECTION FROM LIGHTING ! DEAR CUSTOMERS, I AM GOING TO HAVE TO PUT REALISTIC RESERVES ON SOME OF MY ITEMS TO PROTECT MY INVESTMENT. AFTER PAYING ALL OF EBAY'S FEES TO LIST AN ITEM, THEN THE FINAL VALUE FEES, THEN THE PAYPAL FEES, I HAVE FOUND THAT IN THESE ECONOMIC TIMES, PEOPLE JUST AREN'T BIDDING AND I AM TAKING A LOSS ON MOST ITEMS. I SIMPLY CANNOT AFFORD TO GIVE THESE WONDERFUL ANTIQUES AWAY. I HOPE THAT YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE NECESSITY FOR MY ACTIONS. I WISH THERE WERE ANOTHER WAY.

This is a beautiful old Edwardian period teapot made in the 1860's in England. This fabulous old mold had blown out florals around the rim and base. The background is a creamy off white, with delicate sprays of pink and white roses with just a touch of blue wildflowers as an accent. The finial and embossed lines are trimmed in a hunter green and then gold gilt.

It measures 7" tall, 8" across handle end to spout tip and 6" across the depth of the piece.

There are a couple of "blueing" marks, but because of it's age, they have "soaked" into the glaze. Nothing detracts from the beauty of this staple piece of history. Remember, antiques truly don't lose their value, and they can never be replaced. What an investment !

There are no chips, cracks or hairlines. Everything is totally intact !

This would be a perfect addition to any , Old English, European, Victorian, Edwardian or floral or teapot collection.
