Shade is about 16" across. If you have low ceilings you will want to use smaller bulbs because the big bulbs might show over the top (in the one picture is shown several bulbs just to give an idea of the variety out there).
overall hanging length is 26" including ceiling canopy and crystal ball finial.
Buyer pays USPS Priority or Parcel shipping (put your zipcode into calculator to get cost); price includes delivery confirmation which=.70 .75 cents, insurance (= $1.75 for coverage up to $50.) and to help defray the costs of packaging, fees, etc.=2.00 handling fee. Note (: Just a hopeful suggestion! The packaging supplies you receive can be recycled simply by placing at your curb (of course well bundled or taped up so the styrofoam peanuts don't blow all over) with a sign on them stating (FREE packaging and styrofoam).
