Victorian Brass Door Knocker Smooth Hair Fox Terrier Picture(s) and Description:
offered for sale is an antique (Victorian era) brass door knocker. The door knocker part features a standing dog and below the dog are the words "SMOOTH HAIRED FOX TERRIER" which are part of the cast of the piece.

This is simply a delightful piece and the dog is almost three dimensional as it measures 8mm at its base. It is not a flimsy item and is in perfect condition with lovely patina commensurate with its age. The top of the dog's head to the base measures 48mm and the back plate that is screwed to the door measures 62mm.
Winning bidder is expected to pay within three days of the auction ending please. Local pick up in Adelaide is welcome or postage of $8 to anywhere in Australia.
