Piece is well made and in good condition, marked 800 COPPINI? hallmarked with another hallmark that I am able to make out. Piece is beautifully decorated with a wonderful boat like shaped body with four lovely scrolling feet. Each foot is decorated with a screaming mythological man god's face. The body is repousse in high relief with a wonderful floral flower scrolling design. The handles of this fine piece of continental silver are greatly detailed solid silver with a winged roaring dragon. Piece has a gold wash to the inside. Circa 1870-1890. Piece measures approx 5 1/4" long from handle to handle and 2 1/2" wide stands 4" tall and weighs 133 grams and is fresh out of an old prominent Long Island New York estate. Welcome to our auctions!
