Vintage 1900s Victorian Era Scrap & Tinsel Santa Ornament For auction is a Vintage Scrap & Tinsel Ornament. The paper figures, popularly called scraps were often combined with tinsel to produce tree ornaments. Many were made commercially as well as hand made at home. The popularity was at its greatest in the early 1900s and began to decline by World War I.

This piece is a raised pressed type picture of a woman driving Santa in an antique automobile w/ tinsel added on the edges. It measures approx. 3 X 3 and is signed on the back by Jack.

The ornament is in good condition for its age, there is a piece of tinsel missing from the right side.
